Carrier Account Requirements for Retail Stores

Retail shipping stores and mail centers may use a combination of ShipDesk-provided carrier options and their own carrier accounts, depending on the carrier.
ShipDesk does not act as a carrier or broker. All shipments are processed under the applicable carrier agreement.

FedEx

FedEx Shipping

ShipDesk or own account

Retail stores may use ShipDesk-provided FedEx services or connect their own FedEx account, depending on configuration and eligibility.

All FedEx shipments are subject to the applicable FedEx terms and conditions.

UPS

UPS Shipping

Own account required

UPS services require the store’s own approved UPS account.
Retail shipping stores and mail centers using UPS through ShipDesk must connect and use their own UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet (ASO) account or other eligible UPS account type.
ShipDesk does not provide UPS accounts to retail stores and does not submit UPS shipments on a store’s behalf. All UPS shipments are processed and billed directly through the store’s connected UPS account.

Retail stores may use ShipDesk-provided USPS services, powered by Stamps.com, subject to eligibility and configuration.

Available USPS services are displayed before shipping.
